Design your own vibrant floral collage in this fun, beginner-friendly class that introduces torn paper floral collage. All materials provided!

Join us for a fun and playful introduction to torn paper collage as you create a vibrant, floral artwork!
You’ll learn torn paper collage techniques and composition to create a variety of blooms and foliage, and then design and assemble your own one-of-a-kind bouquet on a canvas with a painted background provided.
Finished examples and collage guides will be available, along with step-by-step instructions and time for questions as they arise, and creativity and experimentation are highly encouraged!
All skill levels welcome and all supplies are included! This class is perfect for beginners (no experience required!) as well as artists interested in exploring a new medium.

Intro to Gel Plate Printing
Explore the fun of gel plate printing and discover its creative possibilities through hands-on learning and experimentation with colour, texture, stencils, and layers as you create your own unique prints.

Curious about gel plate printing? Come discover the joy of creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind monoprints in this relaxed, beginner-friendly class. We'll explore the basics of gel plate printing while experimenting with a variety of textures, found materials, stencils, colour combinations, and simple techniques for creating unique prints.
This class is all about having fun, trying new techniques, and embracing the surprises that make gel printing so addictive! You'll leave with a collection of hand-printed papers to enjoy on their own or use in future creative projects such as collage, art journals, greeting cards, and more.
No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play! All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring a few items you'd like to experiment with, such as leaves or botanicals from your garden, feathers, lace, or other textured objects (as long as you don't mind getting a little paint on them). -

Join us for a playful and creative mixed media class! Using a combination of acrylic paint and torn paper collage, you’ll create a vibrant hummingbird on canvas.
We’ll begin with a loose painting process, creating a colourful base layer on your canvas to prepare it for collage. Then you’ll explore torn paper collage techniques—choosing from a variety of hand-printed papers, then tearing, layering, and arranging them to bring your hummingbird to life with colour, details and texture. We’ll finish with a few final flourishes using paint and paint pens.
This class is perfect for beginners (no experience needed!) as well as experienced artists looking to explore a new medium. Step-by-step instruction is provided throughout, with plenty of room for creativity and personal expression.
All materials are provided. The class includes a 30-minute break, so feel free to bring a lunch. -

We’ll begin by creating a painted background, lightly sketching the bouquet, and adding a background colour to prepare the canvas for collage. Once the paint is dry, you’ll explore torn paper collage techniques—choosing from a variety of hand-printed papers, then tearing, layering, and arranging them to build a colourful floral bouquet.
This class is perfect for beginners (no experience needed!) as well as experienced artists looking to explore a new medium. Step-by-step instruction is provided throughout, with plenty of room for creativity and personal expression.
